Attention Miley Cyrus Fans: Remember to tune into “Two and Half Men” when you’re perusing your direct tv satellite tv guide this fall.

Cyrus has just been confirmed for a role on CBS’ hit sitcom. The 19-year-old singer/actress will appear in two upcoming episodes. The airdates for these episodes have not been announced yet.

Cyrus’ cameo on the show had been rumored for a few months before the network officially announced the details. Miley will play Missi, who is an old family friend of Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher). Missi comes to visit for a week and becomes involved with Jake Harper (Angus T. Jones) when he comes home from serving in the Army.

Cyrus has yet to comment about her part on the show, but confirmed her role by tweeting out the press release. Meanwhile, Angus T. Jones told E! News that he was excited about Cyrus joining the cast.

Cyrus’ role as Missi is her first since she left “Hannah Montana” in January of 2011. She is also scheduled to star in the comedy, “So Undercover,” which will hit the silver screen later this year.

The tenth season of “Two and a Half Men” kicks off on Thursday, September 27th at 8:30 p.m.

“Hannah Montana” was the perfect role for a young Miley Cyrus. Miley grew out of the role as she grew up. She now finds herself in the same position as many other child actors do. She is out of work and trying to find her next role.
